Creative Thinking
I use my dynamic project management skills with my creativity and innovative thinking, to drive results and enhance performance.
01 communication
When companies embrace innovation, they adapt and stay relevant across the product, process, and productivity. For effective innovation, the sponsor and project team must actively engage with the concept or idea, understand the intended experience, and comprehend the value being delivered to the customer. This requires creating a stimulating environment. In my project management role, I exercise creativity by using visual cues in presentations and reports, limit communication and processes to one-pagers, and adjust meeting cadence to enhance engagement to run efficient timely meetings.
04 leadership
I believe in establishing an environment of innovation and creativity by setting clear directives that coincide with my vision of excellence. I excel in building lean, effective, resourceful, and collaborative approaches that encourage new ways of thinking. By emboldening my teams to be on the look out for new opportunities, and broadening fields of knowledge, they are able to challenge current thinking and continue to ideate on out-side-the-box thinking so that projects are able to meet their goals and objectives.
02 Design
Well-balanced technical and emotional design creates products that continue to surprise and delight the customer, while driving business results. Working with creative teams requires some creativity and ingenuity in itself. As a project manager with expertise in design and technical roles, I am able to understand the needs of each role and how these two left and right brain teams communicate and receive information to lower the risk of issues.
03 creativity & innovation
Project management is disciplined and task oriented to complete the project objectives in a timely manner. However, the complexity of the role does require innovation and creativity to overcome barriers and difficulties throughout the project lifecycle. In order to stay competitive, organizations must create a culture of a continuous flow of ideas. I encourage my team members to challenge methods and procedures that aren’t working or hindering progress flow. I look for continuous improvement and the most efficient, lean ways of accomplishing project activities.
